In this post, we will see how to stop, pause, and resume OneDrive syncing on Windows 11 or Windows 10.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Pause\u00a0OneDrive\u00a0Syncing<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-331780\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Stop-Resume-or-Pause-OneDrive-Syncing.jpg\" alt=\"Stop, Resume or Pause OneDrive Syncing\" width=\"700\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Stop-Resume-or-Pause-OneDrive-Syncing.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Stop-Resume-or-Pause-OneDrive-Syncing-500x236.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Stop-Resume-or-Pause-OneDrive-Syncing-300x141.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you have opened your OneDrive app, it will commence syncing of files and folders on your computer with your OneDrive cloud account. If there is not much work to be done, the process should go through quickly.<\/p>\n<p>But if you want to pause the syncing temporarily for some reason, OneDrive allows you to do it. You can pause OneDrive syncing for 2, 8 or 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>To pause OneDrive syncing, all you need to do is right-click on the OneDrive icon in the notification area and you will see the option <strong>Pause syncing<\/strong>.
