You can access this feature by clicking on the <strong>My Day<\/strong> icon (a calendar with a tick mark) in the top-right corner of the Outlook window. When clicked, it shows a panel on the right side that lets you quickly view your events or to-dos without leaving the module you&#8217;re in (Mail, Calendar, or People).<\/p>\n<h4>4] Pin Email, Set Inbox Rules, and more<\/h4>\n<p>There are several other features that you may find useful while using the new Outlook desktop client.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-448940 size-full\" title=\"Pin or Snooze email\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Pin-or-Snooze-email.jpg\" alt=\"Pin or Snooze email\" width=\"700\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Pin-or-Snooze-email.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Pin-or-Snooze-email-500x161.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.thewindowsclub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Pin-or-Snooze-email-300x96.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can now <strong>pin important emails<\/strong> and keep them on top of your inbox to make it easier to find them later. To pin an email, take your cursor over its entry in the Inbox. You will see three icons. Click on the last icon (the <strong>Pin<\/strong> icon). The email will shift to the top.<\/li>\n<li>You can <strong>snooze an email<\/strong> to temporarily hide it from your inbox. Snoozed emails can be scheduled to appear as new emails at a later point in time when you can respond. To snooze an email, select it and click on the <strong>Snooze<\/strong> option in the top ribbon. Select a time from the available options or select &#8216;Choose a date&#8217; to set a custom date and time.<\/li>\n<li>You can <strong>schedule emails<\/strong> to delay sending them to your clients or colleagues. Click on the dropdown next to the <strong>Send<\/strong> button and select the <strong>Schedule send<\/strong> option. Select <strong>Custom time<\/strong> and set the date and time for delayed delivery of the email.<\/li>\n<li>You can set<strong> Inbox Rules<\/strong> to perform specific actions or automatically move incoming emails to specific folders based on the sender or recipients. Click on the <strong>Settings<\/strong> icon in the Outlook window and select <strong>Mail &gt; Rules<\/strong>. Click on the<strong> Add new rule<\/strong> button. Enter a name for the rule, and specify a condition and an action. Click on <strong>Save<\/strong> to apply the rule.<\/li>\n<li>You will get<strong> AI assistance<\/strong> while writing emails. The new Outlook for Windows is integrated with intelligent assisted capabilities that help you compose error-free emails by displaying spelling or grammar corrections.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Categories<\/strong> in the new Outlook for Windows have been significantly upgraded.
